From July 5th-15th, different activities are set up in the city of Calgary for this celebration, which our company has been committed to as a sponsor for more than 15 years. It is a great opportunity to promote our brand with the Stampede’s global audience and to bring our employees together.
The Stampede began with its traditional parade in which local authorities, companies, and marching bands from around the world participate. It was later followed by the world famous bull and horse rodeos, wagon races, pancake breakfasts tastings, shows, concerts, among other attractions. Our colleague from Chauvin, Kris Molle, competed and finished well in the Rangeland Derby, an event with a history that dates back to 1923.
In addition to attending the different events that take place at the Stampede, our team dressed up in western clothes typical for the occasion to also bring the atmosphere of this celebration to the office.
A highlight of the week was also the traditional breakfast with approximately 350 participants, where our employees were able to enjoy a delightful meal while spending some time outside the office. Once again our Executive leaders who actively took part in serving the traditional dishes along with the numerous volunteers who made it possible.
During this breakfast, we once again proudly supported the Calgary Food Bank's ”Put the Boots to Hunger” campaign in the fight against hunger. This year they raised $760 and approximately 160 kilos of food.
